Terms of use

Draft. This is a plain-language summary written by the Replonic team, not a lawyer-reviewed contract. Have it checked before you rely on it commercially.

1. What the service does

Replonic reads the publicly reachable pages of a website you add to your account and uses that content to answer questions from your visitors through a chat widget. We only read pages that are open to any visitor — nothing behind a login, and nothing your site asks automated visitors not to read.

2. Your responsibilities

You may only add websites you own or are authorised to represent. You are responsible for the content the bot learns from, and for checking that the answers it gives are acceptable for your business. Do not use the service for unlawful content or to impersonate anyone.

3. Answer quality

The bot answers from your own content and is instructed to say it doesn't know rather than invent an answer. Even so, automated answers can be wrong or incomplete. They are not a substitute for advice from your team, and we do not guarantee any particular level of accuracy. You can override any answer from your dashboard.

4. Payment

A plan is bought per account, not per website, and is billed monthly in US dollars through Polar as merchant of record. We never receive or store your card details. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. What we do and don't refund is set out in the refunds and cancellation policy.

5. Limits and fair use

Your plan sets how many websites the account may hold and how many messages a month those websites share — the allowance is one pool, not a budget per site. Each website also has a page limit. When the allowance runs out the bot pauses and a warning appears in your dashboard; we never bill you for overage without asking. We may apply rate limits to protect the service from abuse.

6. Data and privacy

We store the content read from your site, your account details, and the conversations visitors have with your bot. Conversations are kept for 90 days and you can delete them at any time. We do not sell your data and do not train our own models on it. Questions and the matching extracts from your pages are sent to third-party language model providers in order to generate replies. The privacy policy lists who they are and explains that for your visitors' conversations you are the controller and we are the processor.

7. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service running continuously but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete a website or close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why where we are able to.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States. Nothing here removes a right you have under mandatory consumer law.
